Return & Exchange Policy

At MyVellies, we want you to love your new vellies. If your shoes don’t fit quite right, or if you’re not completely satisfied, our returns and exchange process is here to help.


1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Change of Mind or Sizing Issues: Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, in original packaging, and with all tags intact.

  • Defective or Faulty Products: Under the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa), defective goods may be returned within 6 months of purchase for a repair, replacement, or full refund at no extra cost.


2. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Customised or personalised vellies

  • Clearance items

  • Products damaged after delivery or showing signs of wear


3. How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact us at admin@myvellies.co.za with your order number and reason for return/exchange.

  2. We’ll provide a Courier Tracking Number and instructions.

  3. Pack the shoes securely, include the tracking number, and prepare for courier collection.


4. Return & Exchange Costs

  • Exchanges (size or colour): A flat courier fee of R180 (payable via EFT) covers collection and delivery of your new pair.

  • Returns for Refund (non-defective items): Courier fees apply, and a 7% handling fee will be deducted from the refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Defective Items: Returns are free, with no handling fees.


5. Refunds

  • Once your return is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 working days.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please follow the return process mentioned above and specify that it is an exchange.
